Description

Naval Group Belgium located in Brussels is looking for an Assistant M/F for a period of 12 months, renewable for 12 months, available from September 2026.

The Assistant M/F will be in charge of welcoming and guiding "internal" and "external" customers and suppliers.

The Assistant will be in charge of welcoming and guiding "internal" and "external" customers and suppliers.

 

Description of the main tasks:

Receive telephone calls ensuring screening and transmission, and manage the messaging service and agenda of their supervisor(s).

Organise and coordinate the management and transmission of information and documentation for their executive officer.

Manage archiving and circulating hard copy or electronic documentation.

Develop analytical and synthetic documents, write up minutes, reports, etc.

Manage the logistics requirements (reservation of rooms, transport), organising trips, appointments and meetings for their manager, or events for their entity.

Ensure optimal operation of the work entity regarding the security of resources and equipment, equipment procurement and supplies and subcontracted services, and management of the IT equipment and furniture.

Manage complex technical, administrative and commercial files independently (e.g. Group reporting, indicator database, etc.)

Participate in work groups in relation with their assignments or manage work groups on transverse assignments.

Develop and update indicators

Assist Executive Officers (Service Manager/Department Manager/Operational or Functional Management) and their employees by carrying out the administrative activities and/or part of the work files.

These tasks are non-exhaustive and may evolve according to the needs and preferences of the candidate

 

 

You will have the opportunity to talk to the Department Manager and learn more about all your duties during the recruitment interviews.

Responsibilities & Duties

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

Beginner with an assistant degree or experience in the field

 

–     Skills:

Method and rigour, communication, analysis and synthesis skills, customer-oriented mindset

 

–     Knowledge / Proficiency:

Office tools, Assistance and secretarial techniques

 

–     Ability to adapt and good level of English.
