Description

As part of the development of its activities, Naval Group Belgium is looking for a Cyber Integrator M/F
As a Cyber Integrator M/F, you will play a key role in the integration, validation, and delivery of cybersecurity solutions developed within a CyberLab environment focused on R&D, product development, and operational integration for naval systems.
You will act as the technical lead for integration activities, ensuring that cybersecurity solutions designed by Cyber Architects are correctly implemented, tested, demonstrated, and delivered often in complex and high-security environments.


As part of the Cyber department, you will work in a dynamic environment within the naval industry. Your mission will be to ensure support, maintenance and services, this will include the following activities:


·         Cyber Integration & Technical Leadership
o   Lead the integration of cybersecurity solutions based on defined architectures
o   Translate technical designs into deployable, testable, and maintainable solutions
o   Coordinate integration activities across laboratory, test, and operational-representative environments


·         Validation, Testing & Qualification
o   Plan and execute integration, verification, and qualification (IVQ) activities
o   Support qualification reviews and technology readiness (TRL) progression
o   Validate cybersecurity performance against operational and customer requirements


·         R&D & Prototyping
o   Lead or contribute to proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and prototypes
o   Evaluate cybersecurity tools and commercial solutions (COTS)
o   Contribute technically to internal and EU-funded R&D projects


·         Cybersecurity Training Platforms & Scenarios
o   Contribute to the development and integration of cybersecurity training environments
o   Support the creation and validation of cyber attack, defence, and incident-response scenarios
o   Adapt simulated environments to support training objectives and demonstrations
o   Support the development of training materials


·         Project, Team & Customer Support
o   Act as technical lead for integration work packages
o   Mentor and guide junior cyber integrators
o   Provide technical input to proposals and offers (integration and feasibility aspects)
o   Support customer demonstrations, technical reviews, and deliveries

Responsibilities & Duties

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

 

Higher degree in software engineering, computer science, or telecommunication (or equivalent)


·         Strong experience in cybersecurity and in integration of complex IT and OT systems


·         Ability to design and implement representative cyber attack and defence activities for testing, validation, and training purposes (e.g. attack simulation, detection validation, incident-response exercises)


·         Good understanding of red-team and blue-team concepts as applied to engineering, validation, and training scenarios (not penetration testing)


·         Solid hands-on background in networks, virtualisation, containerisation, and security solutions


·         Experience with testing, validation, and qualification processes


·         Comfortable working in R&D and product-oriented environments


·         Experience in defence, naval, or regulated environments is a strong advantage


·         Excellent English skills


·         Professional level for French an Dutch
