This position is part of the SCORPENE Indonesia (SRI) program management team currently being put together and will start at the end of 2024. Reporting to the Technical Assistance Manager in the front office in Surabaya, you will be tasked with preparing and organising Transfer of Technology* activities relating to Planning and Production engineering for the PT PAL shipyard, and thus managing technical assistance for the ramp-up of the Submarine construction shipyard activities.

Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the PT PAL shipyard planning teams correctly understand and implement the master construction schedule
2. Implement and ensure adoption by the PT PAL shipyard of the best methodologies and Production engineering to achieve the specified cost/lead time/quality objectives and in accordance with the requirements of the TDP
3. Ensure the compliance of Training and Technical Assistance activities with Naval Group rules, in particular concerning the preservation of the Group’s intellectual capital and know-how
4. Assume the role of Planning and Production engineering Coordinator within the Technical Assistance team and help to coordinate all requirements related to the PT PAL shipyard and the Back Office teams
Your main tasks:
1. Advise the PT PAL shipyard and the end customer (IN) for the planning domain of the construction of the SRI Submarines
2. Advise the PT PAL shipyard and the end customer for the Production engineering domain of the construction of SRI Submarines
3. Manage the operational relationship with the shipyard for the technical assistance services in your domain and for the development of skills by the Planning and Production engineering teams of the PT PAL shipyard
4. Advise the shipyard on:
- implementation of monitoring management tools for manufacturing and on-board assembly
- management of the shipyard workload plan
- management of the ground occupation plan
- its subcontracting policy (scope, assessment of schedule risks, consideration of construction constraints, etc.)
5. Produce a periodic progress report on construction activities with updated indicators
6. Deliver feedback and capitalise planning and production engineering activities
7. Report all the hard points in your field of responsibility (Voix du chantier) to the Programs Management and the Back Office in order to ensure a suitable response in processing, in particular on the delivery priorities of the Material Packages and input data (COS)
8. Comply with the HSE rules defined for personnel
WHAT ABOUT YOU?
- Engineer or equivalent with strong experience in the field of planning and scheduling of submarine construction activities,
- Very good knowledge of the production engineering process (DP6) and associated methods in the submarine domain,
- Very good knowledge of construction and assembly sequences as well as the processes implemented in submarine construction,
- Good knowledge of the manufacturing, assembly, integration, start-up and testing activities involved in submarine construction,
- Good knowledge of the TSR of the different Production domains (hull, pipework, mechanical, etc.),
- Good knowledge of the classification and identification of submarine equipment (FM, DPT, SN, etc.), be up to date with developments (production engineering items, etc.),
- Skilled in IT tools (.msp planning software, TDP/IS, etc.),
- Training skills, diplomacy, ability to communicate and express yourself clearly in meetings,
- Rigour, independence, sense of initiative, excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork,
- Fluent in English.
