Description
This position is part of the Naviris Ollioules team (Joint Venture between Fincantieri and Naval Group) and ideally will start in June 2024.
Applicants should demonstrate experience in technical data management using an Electronic Data Management System; they will be the correspondent for Naviris programmes to handle all input documents received from partners and required for design work, as well as the deliverables produced by Naviris
Further to their activity as the manager of input data and Programme documentation, the successful applicant will deliver daily administrative support to enable the Naviris design platform to operate correctly
Your primary missions on Naviris projects and programmes will be:
- Configuration and day-to-day management of the databases used to archive input data received from partners to enable design work by Naviris, and output data from the design work. Data will be stored in an orderly fashion in an Electronic Data Management (EDM) system.
- Management of individual access rights to databases to authorise participants to interact with Naviris in accordance with the requirements set down by the Project/Programme Manager. Update EDM connection logs.
- Publish configuration status reports for the document configuration of the project / programme, especially in key development phases.
Lastly, further to their principal activity as the manager of input data and programme / project documentation, the successful applicant will deliver daily administrative support to enhance the operation of the Naviris design platform. In particular:
- Access requests to Naviris France premises and escort for accompanied visitors
- Management of supplies
- Meeting room bookings for Naviris and in the Naval Group premises
- Support to engineering staff on their professional travel
- Occasional production of documentation in PowerPoint or Word format
You will have the opportunity to talk to the division manager and learn more about all your tasks during the recruitment interviews.

Responsibilities & Duties
WHAT ABOUT YOU?
- Training:
With at least 5 years of experience as a senior technical assistant in an equivalent field, you bring proven skills in technical document management (input and output data) using a technical file structure suited to warships and using EDM type software.
- Skills:
· Excellent knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint. Ability to use EDM systems such as I-extranet (Oodrive) or Enovia (DS) for example.
· Professional proficiency in English (oral, written and reading). Spoken Italian would be a plus point.
· High-quality relationship skills and professional attitudes to communicate with demanding customers and partners
· A taste for support work to engineering activities and proven skills in creating bonds and encouraging project / programme team members to share their data and documents of interest
Successful work experience in administrative management or logistics would also be positive factor. Occasional travel required to the Naviris site in Genoa.
