Description
Within our recently established (2019) and rapidly growing office in Belgium, we are focusing on Cyber Security, Mine Countermeasures and Services. In order to grow and develop our Services we are looking for a Technical Superintendent Vessel Maintenance for our office in Zeebrugge.
As a Technical Superintendent Vessel Maintenance M/F, you help to make sure that the vessels and equipment are technically operational at all times.
Your main tasks and responsibilities include:
- Coordination of multiple technical maintenance and repair works.
- Verification of reports, repair lists and request forms.
- Keeping an overview on the works that are executed, those still to be executed, problem reports and new requests for spare parts.
- Preparing repair and renovation projects.
- Perform stock management.
- Reserving dry docks and contacting local subcontractors.
- Ensure implementation of safety, quality and environment policies.
- Technical liaison between vessel crew and shore support teams.
- Liaison with the Naval Group technical teams in France.
You will have the opportunity to talk to the department manager and learn more about all your assignments during the recruitment interviews.
Responsibilities & Duties
WHAT ABOUT YOU?
You have a Master's degree in engineering sciences or industrial sciences in Mechanics / Electromechanics.
You are an organizational multidisciplinary talent with a high degree of autonomy.
You have a good technical knowledge and a passion for engineering.
You are interested to work within the maritime defense industry.
You have strong communication skills and are able to express yourself fluently in Dutch and in English.
You have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the maritime world.
