In our recent and rapidly growing Belgian office we develop new models, solutions and technologies for Naval and Maritime Cybersecurity.
As part of the development of its activities, Naval Group Belgium is looking for a Cyber Specialist M/F
As part of the Cyber-Lab (Cybersecurity Laboratory), you will work in a dynamic environment within the naval industry.
Your mission will be to design, build and test cyber defense solutions in response to customer expectations. In particular you will:
- Actively participate in the Lab’s studies (market analysis, needs analysis, feasibility tests, development, integration) within the framework of internal projects or collaborative projects contributing to raising the maturity of cyber solution lines.
- Integrate and validate cybersecurity equipment on the lab platform, or on another representative platform within the framework of other projects, by undertaking the following:
o Applying integration and qualification plans and procedures
o Integrating and testing cyber solutions on the platform and on board
o Participating in investigations on anomalies and in configuration management committees
o Drafting IVQ reports and documentation
- Developing Cyber demonstrators with the objective of contributing to showcasing the Belgian Cyber Lab’s technology
- Managing technical follow-up of outsourcing
- Participating in developing or raising the maturity of cyber solution lines
- Staying up to date with the latest technological developments in his/her field of activity and contributing to activities related to R&D studies
You will have the opportunity to talk to the department manager and learn more about all your assignments during the recruitment interviews.
Responsibilities & Duties
The candidate M/F should ideally have an engineering or equivalent university degree (Bac+5) and have specialized in the security of information systems and Cyber Defense.
The candidate M/F should have at least 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering and IVQ relating to highly critical systems subject to stringent standards of cybersecurity (energy, banks, telecommunications, military, etc.).
The candidate M/F is required to demonstrate expertise in the following technical subjects:
- Cyber Integration, Verification/Validation and Qualification
- Critical IT systems engineering
- A thorough grasp of the normative referential and NIST / CIS guides
- Systems and network architecture
- Cybersecurity products: SIEM, Orchestrator, Firewall, IDS probes, EDR…
The candidate M/F is also required to demonstrate the following qualities:
- Rigor and an analytical spirit
- Teamwork skills
- Good writing skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English enabling you to communicate effectively with English speaking correspondents.
